I bought a NVIDIA Quadro P2000 so that I can do hardware decodes, and the specs say that the system interface is PCIe 16x The motherboards I'm looking at are the X11SSL-CF and the X11SSH-CTF. The X11SSH has a 8x physical/electrical slot, and the X11SSL has a 16x physical/8x electrical slot. So, I removed the GRFX card, added in the p2000, uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the quadro drivers. Still no go, still only encoding with HW, not encoding and the grfx card is doing it slow. I’m on the step where I uninstall PLEX Media Server and reinstall with the Quadro in. Quadro P2000; Quadro M2000. N/A; Quadro P1000. Quadro K1200; 47 W. The 8-pin PCIe connector can drive up to 175 W. Along with the PCIe slot, it can support a graphics card consuming up to 250 W. However, due to the increased power.
